Petrolo, nestled in the prestigious Val d’Arno di Sopra, bordering Chianti Classico, embodies the harmony between love of the land and winemaking excellence, a legacy of the Bazzocchi-Sanjust family since the 1940s.

With production concentrated on 31 hectares of vines, Petrolo cultivates mainly Sangiovese, enriched by touches of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, for an annual production of over 90,000 bottles, among which Torrione, Galatrona, and Bòggina stand out.

Under the enlightened direction of Luca Sanjust, closely accompanied by Rocco Sanjust, a natural approach to viticulture and winemaking has been implemented: without selected yeasts or enzymes, each vintage captures the unique essence of its terroir.

Recognized in the DOC Valdarno di Sopra appellation, the estate is committed to producing wines that tell the story of those who shaped this land, reflecting the tradition, innovation and enduring beauty of their environment.
